Who Can Use Workful?
If you have 100 employees and want to use Workful, we’re not going to stop you. But, we designed Workful to be ideal for small businesses with 5 to 20 employees.
We know that when small businesses only have a handful of employees, they’re kind of in limbo. It’s a waste of time to calculate payroll by hand, but most payroll and HR software is designed for much larger companies. And, a lot of that software is designed to run payroll and handle HR for you, which is not something many small businesses can afford.
So, Workful is a do-it-yourself solution?
Yes, Workful is a DIY small business solution. But, don’t let that scare you off.
Like I said earlier, we designed Workful to be as easy as possible. You won’t be spending hours setting up or learning how to use it. When you first sign up, we’ll take you through a short onboarding process that gives you a chance to learn the program and set up your company at the same time.

This whole payroll tax thing can get pretty complicated. Can you guys help small businesses with that?
Payroll taxes can be the most complicated part of hiring employees. Every state has different forms to file and different filing deadlines. Add federal forms, deposits, and deadlines into the mix, and it can easily turn into a nightmare.
So, of course we want to help you with that, too. When you run payroll through Workful, we use your payroll information to fill out your forms for you and let you know when each form is due.

Let’s cut to the chase. How much does Workful cost?
We have two options for you – a monthly subscription and an annual subscription. For both plans, there’s a minimum monthly cost of $50.
With the monthly subscription, you’d pay $10 per month per employee. So, if you have 1 to 5 employees, you’d pay $50 per month (which comes out to $600 per year). If you add a 6th employee, the price would go up to $60 per month (which comes out to $720 per year).
Once you add that 6th employee, you could save by choosing an annual subscription. When you have 6 employees on the annual plan, you’d pay just $600 per year. Once you add a 7th employee, you’d pay just $8 per employee per month, which would be $672 per year.
